These shoes are just plain creepy ...
I must say, I've had a rockin' good Memorial Day weekend. Friday, went to see RedWantingBlue again. Saturday, I spent the whole day with a friend (Melissa) I hadn't seen in a while ... we went bike shopping, took a walk by the lake, went to lunch, got ice cream, cat-sat, and even went grocery shopping. On Sunday, my friend Whitney drove in from Michigan, and we went to Melissa's and cooked on the grill. Then today, Whitney and I went downtown, and then met up with Rob on North Avenue Beach to see the band Catfight. All in all, it was a very fun (and relaxing) weekend!
On Thursday, I met up with Miriam and Brandi, two former co-workers. We went to a bar called Konak, and then Brandi and I went to see her husband in a show at Improv Olympic. I stayed up late on a school night, but it was worth it. ;) It was nice to catch up with them.
John had been unable to reveal to anyone how he fared. Unfortunately, he only won $1,000. He was going for $16,000 when his phone-a-friend gave him a wrong answer. :( Still, he said it was a positive experience, and that Meredith Vieria is really nice.
It was a fun time ... and I say kudos to John for inviting everyone out, even though he didn't win big. It was neat (and kind of trippy) to be watching him on TV while he was in the room.
